Perfect for daily work or casual wear. Good selection of sizes as I have a hard time finding shirts and jackets that fit properly due to my long arms.

I LIVE in sweatshirts. I used to buy Land's End crew sweatshirts for years until they cheapened them and are now garbage and way too thin. Then I wore the Land's End "Serious" sweatshirt which became my favorite, but they now stopped making them, .So I then tried a host of other brands. This Carhartt MIDWEIGHT sweatshirt is great. Keep in mind that this comes in both "MIDWEIGHT" and "HEAVY" weight. This one, the MIDWEIGHT is what you would expect from a regular weight sweatshirt. Not too thin and not too heavy. Only two things that keep me from rating this a Five Star Sweatshirt. The size is WAY too big. I take a Large size in every other brand of sweatshirt that I have ever tried. This "large" size Carhartt is at LEAST an EXTRA large. This is the only sweatshirt that I have to buy in a MEDIUM size rather than a LARGE which is what I wear in every other brand. The other thing I don't like is the "Carhartt" emblem sewn into the sweatshirt. It's ugly and I don't really like being used as a billboard to advertise for the company. So if you don't mind the "Carhartt" tag being sewn on the bottom right of the shirt and if you keep in mind that these shirts run BIG, then this is a great sweatshirt. I really think that sizes should be standardized. ALSO, I ordered this in Black. Well, every other black sweatshirt that I have and am looking at right now are darker. I noticed that the minute I opened the package. This is either a lighter black than all my other sweatshirts or, maybe it's a dark blue. I really can't tell, but it IS lighter in color than every other black sweatshirt that I own. Overall, I will now be buying this sweatshirt. I will buy MEDIUM instead of Large in the future. Wish it was a darker black.

I read some of the negative comments and thought these sweatshirts need a positive coment, I have 2 of these sweatshirts,had them for 3 yrs,,best investment i ever made on this type of clothing,With proper care these things will last forever,very warm,very comy and above all,well made. I have a very limited budget for clothes so i need something that will last,,these are it!! So if you are looking for comfort,warmth and abobe all value,,look no futher then Carhartt.

Just because w work for a living, sure would be nice to have a larger choice of colors.

Looks good, fits good, warm, BUT incredibly scratchy around the neck... Maybe too much Polyester. I took the tags off before wearing it so I can't return it. I recommend having a neck of steel if you buy this.
