I own three pair of Carhartt insulated jeans, two of flannel lined and one pair of fleece lined. I wear them all winter. They last longer than other jeans and I will buy them again and again. I would recommend them to a friend.

I own two different competitor products of "lined" jeans. These do not measure up. They are true to size and quite comfortable, but they do NOT keep me warm like the others out of doors. The flannel lining is thin and is inadequate for cold outdoor use. I am returning them and sticking with brand X.

After suffering an accident that permanently injured my spinal cord, I was dismayed to learn that one of the functions that no longer worked as expected in my body was my perception of hot and cold, as in weather temperatures. I had always been one to wear minimal outer protection, even in winter, in exchange for freedom of movement. After the accident it all changed and I found that even in summer I could be comfortable wearing a light jacket and long sleeved shirts. I always dreaded winter because I felt frozen for the duration . . . until now! I have just discovered Carhartt's flannel lined jeans. I bought a pair, the sizing was right on the button, and haven't wanted to wear any other brand of jeans since! The flannel really adds a substantial layer to my warmth strategy. These pants are so substantial that when washed, a wet but thoroughly spun out pair will still tip the scales at between five & ten lbs.! Most importantly, they warm me. Thanks Carhartt. This is the best "medical device" I have ever bought! Observations: Lining stays put and does not creep around inside the garment as some lined pants do. Also, drying in a gas or electric dryer is significantly aided by turning the pants inside-out before putting them in to dry.

I wear 38x29. Don't offer short lengths. I will not buy a pair of pants then have them modified. Offer 29" inseam and I would try a pair.

I own four pairs of these flannel lined jeans. Once October hits here in the Northwest, I need these pants to keep me warm from those cold wet winter days here in the Seattle area. These jeans are comfortable and durable. What else are you looking for in making a purchase? You won't regret buying them but will end up being a repeat customer after you wear them on a cold winter day.
