I just replaced the Carhart vest I got 12 to 15 years ago. The old one was getting a little worn and faded. I was delighted to find that I now can get the same vest in 'long'! Since I am now retired, I expect to get at least as much wear out of the new vest.

Good quality but runs short. I'm nat a tall guy but it still at least 2 to 3" short and big in the shoulders

If they awarded Nobel Prizes for work clothes this would be the winner. It is impossible to wear them out. I have been wearing them for over 25 years and have never torn a pocket or ripped a seam. The zipper has never jammed or jumped the track.It has never even lost a pull tab. I wear them from September to April , all day ,every day. The long tail keeps your backside covered even when stretching or reaching , but is still comfortable getting in and out of the truck. I usually order a size up and layer under it. It is the most versatile article of clothing ever designed. The quality is unmatched, they are so rugged and substantial that you almost have to break them in like a new stiff boot. I can't go a winter without one. I rely on it so much that in the event of a fire I would save the dog first, then my vest!

This vest is the perfect fit for me.....it is tough, strong and durable. Since I hunt alot , this vest is GREAT to have in the field and satisfies the required hunter orange that hunters need to wear in some states. I have many other Carhartt products from pants to shirts.....you name it! Me and my Carhartts.....life is good!!!
